An intermediate gun defense seminar will be held Saturday, July 16th, from 10am until 1pm. Combatives and disarms for the basic gun threats are a prerequisite, but will be reviewed in the first hour. The second two hours will address scenarios involving restrictions, movement, and hostage scenarios. The cost is $60 and space is limited to 20 participants. If you would like to register, please fill out the form below or stop in the office the next time you are at the school.
You may have noticed the dreadful performance of the site. That will hopefully be fixed over the next few days when the site is transferred to new hosting servers. The site may be up and down during this transition, but it will result in a much less aggravating experience here. Apologies for any inconvenience.
The Academy will be closed for summer break Monday July 4 through Saturday July 9. Classes will resume Monday July 11. These dates are marked on the Class Schedule.

Brian MacDonald is now certified under the Krav Maga Force Training Division. To begin the new Law Enforcement Only Program, he will be conducting a law enforcement seminar on Saturday, June 18, from 10am-12pm. This seminar is free and will cover basic combatives, self-defense, and weapons retention techniques as they apply to law enforcement use of force.
***Due to the classified nature of the training, this seminar is open to sworn law enforcement officers only***

There will be a basic gun defense seminar on Saturday, June 25, from 10am until 1pm. This course will cover defenses and disarms for basic gun threats. The seminar is open to all adult students and the general public. The cost is $60 and space is limited.
***The 8:30am Level 1-2 class before the seminar will cover all basic combatives required for the gun defenses. It is highly recommended you attend this class if you are participating in the seminar. This will allow us to devote the entire 3 hours of the seminar to the defenses!***

Let’s be honest—no one likes working with someone who doesn’t smell fresh.
With summer temperatures already here, there is a lot of sweating going on. Please be courteous and make sure to wear deodorant to class. Better yet, go the extra mile and throw an extra stick in your bag. That way, you always have it with you!
Do I also need to mention that you should wash your workout clothes after every class? Sweat in your clothes promotes bacteria growth, which causes odor. I’m talking all of your workout clothes (boys—groin protectors too! girls? bras!!).
While you are out buying an extra deodorant for your bag, pick up some Febreze too, and make sure you spray down your gear after every use.
Keep calm and be clean, people!
The Academy will be closed Saturday 5/28 and Monday 5/30 for Memorial Day weekend. The regular schedule resumes Tuesday 5/31.
