Black Belt Spectacular 03.07.14

Come celebrate with our school’s newest black belts!

The Black Belt Spectacular will be held at Watertown Middle School (map below) on Friday, March 7.

Doors open at 7pm
Ceremony begins at 7:15pm
This is a free, public event.
As always, food and beverages are potluck-style, so we ask that anyone coming bring something to eat or drink and drop it off in the cafeteria prior to the ceremony.

Youth Kenpo classes are canceled for today, Thursday Feb 13, due to the storm.

***UPDATE 4:15PM***
All evening classes are canceled. The Academy will reopen tomorrow, Friday 2/14.

Gun Defense Seminars: Feb & Mar 2014

BASIC GUN DEFENSE SEMINAR
There will be a basic gun defense seminar on Saturday, February 22, from 9:30 to 11:30am. This course will cover defenses and disarms for basic hand gun threats. The seminar is open to all adult students and the general public. The cost is $65 and space is limited to 20 participants. ***The 8:30am Saturday Scenarios class before the seminar will cover all basic combatives required for the gun defenses. It is highly recommended you attend one this class if you are participating in the seminar. This will allow us to devote the entire seminar to the defenses!***
INTERMEDIATE GUN DEFENSE SEMINAR
There will be an intermediate gun defense seminar on Saturday, March 22, from 1:00 to 3:00pm. This course will address restrictions, movement, and hostage scenarios involving a hand gun. ***You must have attended the Basic seminar at some point before attending this one.*** The cost is $65 and space is limited to 20 participants.
